Why can't i do a corrective action notice on an employee without a job description?

Corrective Action Notices (and Performance Reviews) become legally valid when they are based on the employee's Job Description. This results in two benefits for you 1) The employee will understand and acknowledge that the corrective action notice is not a surprise, it is tied directly to his/her job description and 2) This process helps prepare you to dispute false unemployment claims.

JuvodHR seamlessly connects the job description to a corrective action notice for you.  But you must first create a Job Description and assign it to the employee.  Once this is completed the START button will appear on the Corrective Action Notice Page.
